The Trail Blazers were ready to go ALL IN for Giannis Antetokounmpo. 😳

According to Jake Fischer, Portland was prepared to give up as many as four years of first-round draft capital at the trade deadline in an attempt to land the Bucks superstar.

The craziest part?

They were willing to do it without knowing whether Giannis would sign a long-term extension.

However, that aggressive pursuit has reportedly cooled, as Portland has since been led to believe that an extension would be unlikely.

Blazers and basketball fans were surprised when the announcement was made that head coach Tiago Splitter will not be returning.
