Art and nature! Lots of friends (not pictured). I took so many pictures but, still didn't take enough.

Some of the snake mugs finished recently. I've been using underglazes for the past 6 months or so and I'm really enjoying them. I found that they are more affordable than a lot of other brands and perform well at Cone 6 oxidation. Recently I also ordered a pyrometer from and I'm super happy with the quality and accuracy of it. It's allowed me more control while firing and I'm very grateful for that.

Friends! Thank you so much for coming out to yesterday! It was so good to see and chat with everyone. Thanks for all the love and support. This crown jar/urn found a new home!

Yesterday was a bit of a high anxiety day for me. It was my first market of the year and I broke some things in my panick to try while packing stuff up, and I was still the last person out of there.... But, I am going to make some modifications in my booth set up to alleviate some anxiety.


Also...

If there are any carpenters out there that would be interested in a trade or partial trade/$... I would love to have two 2 1/2ft by 2 1/2 foot shelves made. They don't need to be fancy. Salvaged wood is fine. They just need to be straight and level, haha, I made a really bad set of shelves that is neither of those things. I would love to have them before April. I want to paint them black, unless they are made of some interesting salvaged wood or something else that is interesting.. Please spread the word if you know anyone.

These goofy guys! Lots of experiments with these shrooms and I am liking them without the clear glaze. Excited about the kiln I unloaded today!
