A lot of wellness providers are trying to build sustainable income through constant new client acquisition.

But retention is usually the more stable growth strategy.

The biggest shift comes from:

* better follow-up
* rebooking conversations
* email reminders
* recall systems
* consistent communication
* making clients feel remembered

One returning client is often more valuable than 10 people who come once and disappear. Tell me your favorite client retention tips in the comments or go check out my blog to get my favorite retention strategy!

It’s a hard job. Celebrate yourself!

“I don’t like marketing” usually means “I don’t have a way that feels like me.”

Good news: you can build one. Here’s how to start.

1. Pick one platform. The one you already open without thinking. That’s where your energy actually goes. Stop trying to be everywhere.

2. Pick three things you talk about. Not 10. Three. For most wellness providers it looks something like: what you treat, how you work, who you help. Every post fits into one of those buckets.

3. Write the way you talk. If you wouldn’t say it to a client on your table, don’t post it. Read your caption out loud before you publish. If it sounds like a brochure, rewrite it.

4. Show up twice a week, not seven. Consistency beats volume. Two real posts a week for three months will do more than daily posting for two weeks and burning out.

5. Always give one next step. Book a session. Join the email list. Save the post. DM a question. People don’t take action you didn’t ask them to take.

That’s the whole system. One platform, three topics, your real voice, twice a week, one clear next step.

It’s not flashy. It works.

Save this for the next time you sit down to post and feel stuck. And tell me in the comments: which step are you skipping right now?

Your schedule tells the truth about what’s actually working in your business.

When things feel inconsistent, it usually comes down to what’s happening behind the scenes… how people find you, how they book, and what happens after they leave.

Those background systems are always running.
They either support your schedule or work against it.

That’s where the gaps show up.

And once you can see them clearly, they’re a lot easier to fix. Here are a few examples of systems that will support your growth and help you reach your goals:

✅ Online booking with email automations
✅ Financial management: budgeting/bookkeeping
✅ Marketing
✅ Retention

If you aren't sure how to set up solid systems, let's chat about it! No one taught us this in school! Comment below or get in my DM's and let me know where you need support.

Read that again.

Most wellness providers I talk to treat a slow week like a verdict. Like the universe just told them they're not cut out for this.

It didn't.

First....Slow weeks are a normal part of business. There will be slow times, and planning for those is what will make the difference between panic and using this time for the betterment of yourself and your business!

A slow season or multiple slow weeks are information. They are showing you, very clearly, that your business is leaning on luck instead of structure. No retention system. No financial buffer. No predictable rhythm.

That's a fixable problem.

Every wellness business has slow seasons. Restaurants. Spas. Even the practice you're comparing yourself to on Instagram. The difference is that the ones who survive the slow times plan for them.

You're not in a panic because your January was slow. You're feeling stressed because nobody taught you that slow Januaries are normal and how to build around them.

If this resonates, I just wrote a full blog post on exactly what to do (and what to stop doing). Link in bio or comment "fix it" and I will send it your way.

Save this for the next dip. Send it to the wellness friend who needs it.

I'm cheering you on. 🤍
