Grace Institute nurtures the human spirit through the arts, fostering intercultural appreciation and understanding in an open and inclusive community.

Established in 1995 by the Grace Memorial Episcopal Church, Grace Institute has over the years focused on urban livability and arts education, with a special emphasis on cultural literacy for children. Since 1997 Grace Institute has offered a vibrant summer camp experience unlike any other in the city. Grace Art Camps, the signature program of Grace Institute, has flourished from one week and 30 children, to seven weeks serving over 1,200 children, in addition to two smaller three-day seasonal camps. Grace Art Camp Summer Registration opens tomorrow, February 25th at 10:00 am! ☀️

We’re excited to feel the Caribbean energy at Grace Art Camp this summer! Returning to story-based programming, we will welcome our professional storytellers back to our morning assemblies to regale us with Cuban folktales and lore!
Campers will create vibrant art projects in studios like animation, ceramics, fibre arts, glass, paper & book art, photography, printmaking, and visual arts; rehearse energetic performances in music & dance, puppetry, and theatre; prepare and taste flavorful foods in culinary arts. All inspired by Cuba and lead by our Culture Keepers.
