This is the time of year where moss and algae start to thrive for the new season, so it is a great time for pressure washing! As long as the surfaces are cement, mortar, or stone, the pressure washer works wonders without the need for any pre-treatments. It just washes moss and algae away and keeps it off for a year or more!

Don’t forget about winter pruning on shrubs, perennials and trees.

Now that trees have dropped all their leaves, late Fall/Winter is a great time to prune while they are dormant. One of the main concerns is always keeping limbs off and away from roofs and structures. Branches will blow in the wind and scratch up siding, gutters and shingles. In addition, branches touching structures create a ‘super highway’ for pests.

Our client‘s only access to the back yard was unusable. We transformed the area making it functional and adding beauty at the same time.

To provide drainage, we installed a ‘rain drain’ to direct water away from the house. We removed part of the lawn, put down some fabric and added river rocks. On the street side, we removed more lawn, installed fabric, planted trees, placed some boulders and added bark dust for color. Our client is very happy with their front yard and said it looks great!

A commercial customer had an audit by the fire marshal. Blackberry had started to take over some critical safety and access points. They required the customer to be sure there was ample clearance of the hydrant and propane tank. We got them in compliance with this work!
