Kamilleon, The Flag Project, Rockefeller Center, NYC, 2020
Great news! Kamilleon has been invited to show its love for New York by designing flags to be flown in a temporary art installation on the 193 poles surrounding the iconic Rink at Rockefeller Center. This flag art will be on display along with designs by Carmen Herrera, Christian Siriano, Faith Ringgold, Hank Willis Thomas, Jeff Koons, Jenny Holzer, KAWS, Laurie Anderson, Marina Abramović, Sanford Biggers, Sarah Sze, Shantell Martin, and Steve Powers. In celebration of NY’s diverse culture, vibrant energy, and strength, Kamilleon was chosen from participants around the world for its creativity and demonstrated sense of community. Flags will be raised AUGUST 1-16, 2020. Please support our wonderful artists by enjoying this exhibition, and feel free to post pics here for those of us who can’t be there in person🥰.
