May outfit round up 🎉 it was the slowest month business wise that I’ve had in I think 2 years?!? Which is arguably not good BUT I promise I’m not here with doom and gloom because despite that fact I actually had a really nice month personally. Things felt a little looser and less stuck(a feeling I’ve been experiencing a lot lately) and I made some new things for myself, knit a lot more than usual, actually got some small plans on the books for summer and my garden is looking great so those were all real great wins! I hope you had an okay May as well 😘

All these little bundles are items cut out and ready to be sewn. I cut out approximately 40 garments over the weekend for upcoming events and now I’m starting to work my way through sewing them while mixing in website orders, slowly but surely trying to get the booth looking super cute and full of new things! 🎉

Which floral check do you like better? I’m starting to cut out things to sew for in person events over the summer and it’s so hard to decide what to prioritize but I can’t possibly sew everything I want to……so which do we think is cutest and most like to catch someone’s eye?!

Very randomly found this picture of myself from an in person event last year that Im pretty sure I had never seen before! Lol, but it was a great reminder of how much fun in person things can be and how I’m excited for the ones coming up this summer! First up, I will be vending at June 28th! Oops I’m a little late posting this months donation destination! But better late than never to let you know I’ll be giving a percentage of all sales to this month. They are a community led organization in Wichita, Kansas that provides a safe space and community to youth and members of the LGBTQIA+ community in south central Kansas. Some of you know that my partner is from Kansas and I have found it to be a kind, independent thinking, beautiful second state to love so I like to do a little bit to support a wonderful organization that is putting in the grassroots efforts to better our world. The Center of Wichita provides youth groups for young people as well as family/parent support groups, community events and curate a LGBTQIA+ library for all. Worked on some new designs last month so I wore the new ruffle skirt in a couple different fabrics quite a few times and I bartended 6 shifts so there’s a lot of my overalls and jeans/ go to bartender outfits in this mix. Plus there’s a fair bit of sweatpant comfy cozy fits because we had puppies basically all month and sometimes getting fully dressed just isn’t the priority! 🤷🏻‍♀️
