Led by teaching artist Jill Osgood, 1st graders at Amanda C. Rowe Elementary School created papier-mâché bird sculptures and drawings during a Side x Side program integrated with a literacy and science unit on Maine birds.

Beautiful Atlantic salmon sculptures created by 3rd graders at Amanda C. Rowe Elementary School during a Side x Side program that helped to teach a Wabanaki studies unit called “Take Me to the River” through drawing and sculpture.
