For decades, L’Arche Portland, a local nonprofit that brings people with and without intellectual disabilities together to build meaningful relationships, has held an annual holiday tree sale. Though it’s one of their biggest fundraisers, over the past several years they’ve added an extra charitable component to help support our students—and we are incredibly grateful.
Get your tree from the Hollywood Grocery Outlet lot for the opportunity to support these two incredible nonprofits:

It’s American Education Week! What a great time to reflect on the value of learning and those that make it possible. From our educators to the school staff to the community that support us, we are so grateful. Education is at the core of CTS, and it wouldn’t be possible without all their dedication and hard work.
Check out our profile in Willamette Week’s Give!Guide, as well as the profiles of other nonprofits who make educating our fellow Oregonians their mission (link in our Bio).

Feeling very fortunate to be one of the many amazing non-profits featured in Willamette Week’s Give!Guide 2025. As always, we are grateful for the inclusion, and the support from all those who donate.
Stay tuned for some Big Give Days, in which donors are automatically entered into a raffle to win an awesome prize provided by G!G.

Ready to rock? Once again, CTS is honored to have been selected as the beneficiary for the KGON Presents: Trans-Siberian Orchestra ‘The Ghosts of Christmas Eve’ Tour concert on Sunday, November 23rd. If you haven’t had the opportunity to watch TSO live, we highly recommend it—it’s not just a concert, it’s a spectacle. A portion of all ticket sales will go directly to supporting the school.
Many thanks to 92.3 KGON and TSO for their continued support over the years.

So thankful to KOIN 6 and Joan Dalton. Though the two had never met, Joan (KOIN 6's 2020 Remarkable Woman) nominated Cheryl after learning about CTS and the work that she does.
It is quite the honor and truly a recognition of all the hard work of our staff and the support from our donors and volunteers over the years.

The Spirit Mountain Community Fund provides grants to nonprofits all across Oregon. They also recognize that it’s the hard work of individuals within these organizations that make all the difference. Their “Helping Hand” award is annually given to three individuals whose work often goes unnoticed, but deserves recognition. This year, CTS’s Aldin Porcic was one of those individuals.
Well deserved, Aldin 👏
