🎹 Join us in welcoming Portland, Maine based musician Kafari to our lounge on Friday, November 18th from 6PM to 9PM! 🎹

‘Kafari’ (he/him) is the alias of pianist, rhythm bones player, beat-maker and teaching artist Ahmad Muhammad. Kafari’s music synthesizes his love of ambient piano music, spiritual jazz and experimental hip-hop with influences ranging from Dorothy Ashby, J Dilla and Chopin to the Carolina Chocolate Drops, who sparked Kafari’s interest in the rhythm bones.

Elise has proven talent as a singer-songwriter, combining soul, rock and funk. In addition to earning the achievement of being a Top 6 Finalist on American Idol, Elise has shared a stage with B.B. King, Snoop Dogg, Stevie Nicks and many more notable artists.

In 2014, Elise released her debut album “In This Life”, in which she gained recognition for her talents in the blues and rock genres. The following year, she released her second successful album, titled “This Is Love.”
