Meet our 4th featured artist, Mehran Heard, (in-person!) on August 10th from 5 PM – 9 PM at our Art Spark event.
Heard is a freelance creative living and working in Portland Oregon. Originally from Fresno, California, he has been showing my work since 1998 throughout the west coast in a multitude of fine and contemporary art galleries and public art events. He took on his first large-scale mural in 2004; this initial project started a decade-long career of commercial, personal, and public murals, granting me the lucky opportunity to paint at home and abroad (including Japan and Panama). Along with showing in gallery exhibitions and mural projects, you’ll find him accepting illustration commissions for album covers, logo and apparel design, advertisements, editorials, and wine labels. He has been independently developing a comic that he’ll be self-publishing in the near future. “Simply put, I love to use my imagination, I love to draw, and I love to share my creativity with the world around me.”
