Here's a few images from last night's Aurora Show during our flight home from the East Coast.

Emily was only slightly embarrassed by my hiding under my jacket like a large format film photographer to block out the reflections from the cabin behind me. πŸ˜‰

Thanks to our Delta Air Lines crew for keeping it pointed the right direction. This show lasted around 3 hours or so!

I shot these with the Sony Electronics A7RV and the 24-70 2.8 GM2 and 16-25mm 2.8 G.

This was my first time at , and it was absolutely amazing! So much collaboration, creativity, and community!I

I have so many images to share and thought I'd start with this group from the Film Noir set. Thanks to the amazing crew that set this one up, and for embodying the vintage film vibes.

More from that day in Yellowstone National Park last week- I found these two bulls in velvet hanging out and generally being lazy in a field. I'm thinking it was an exclusive elk spa as they had some bird friends helping out with grooming.

Shot with the Sony - Alpha Universe A1 and 600 GM.

There's nothing quite like the Alpenglow on our cascade peaks here in the PNW!

This is a pano stitch of 6 images taken at 400mm. The final image is 121 megapixels. Might need to make a big-ass print of this one.

Happy Tuesday!

Here's something a little Moody for Monday...

Here's one of my favorite sunrises of all time, over Death Valley's Zabriskie Point. Like many locations, it's all about when you show up. On this morning, the wind was fierce, as you can see in the massive dust clouds fuming on the desert floor in the distance.

The wind that day got up to 40+ MPH on the Badwater Basin and there were a few times standing where this photo was taken that I thought I might lose my balance and fall.

Thanks to my homies Josh and Cody for the awesome trip. We gotta do that again!

Good Morning! Here's a little Golden light, taken after looking for birds with Lester Tsai Photography!

I am so grateful for moments like this, and that I looked up.
