Thereâs something about the beach that softens everything.
The steady rhythm of the wavesâŚ
the way the breeze brushes your skinâŚ
the endless horizon reminding you to lift your gaze just a little higher.
Nature has a quiet way of bringing us back to ourselves.
No noise. No rush. No expectations.
Just the simple invitation to breathe deeper, slow down, and be present.
The ocean doesnât ask anything of us...
it simply offers space. Space to reflect, to release, to begin again.
Whether itâs the warmth of the sun, the grounding feel of sand beneath your feet,
or the sound of water meeting the shore⌠there is healing here.
Today, may you find a moment... even a small one... to step outside, look around, and let nature hold you for a while.

If you sometimes feel like you are being pulled in ten directionsâŚ
If you worry that youâre not giving enough to each of your childrenâŚ
If you lie awake wondering whether youâre doing it rightâŚ
You are not alone.
The very fact that you think about these things means your children have something incredibly valuable:
A mother who cares deeply about who they are as individuals.
I speak to this very real and important topic in my newest blogpost.

Self-care isnât just for new moms.
Itâs for every mom⌠no matter the age of your children.
Whether youâre up all night with a newborn, navigating toddler meltdowns, managing busy school schedules, or supporting grown children finding their way⌠motherhood asks a lot of you.
And somewhere along the way, itâs easy to forget yourself.
Self-care doesnât have to be big or fancy.
It can look like: ⢠a quiet cup of coffee before the house wakes up
⢠a walk in fresh air
⢠saying ânoâ without guilt
⢠asking for help
⢠resting when your body whispers (or shouts) for it
Taking care of yourself is not selfish.
Itâs what allows you to keep showing up with love, patience, and presence.
No matter what season of motherhood youâre inâŚ
you deserve care, too. đ¤

Breastfeeding is about more than milk.
Yes, itâs nourishment.
Yes, itâs antibodies.
Yes, itâs beautifully designed nutrition.
But itâs also co-regulation.
Itâs oxytocin flowing.
Itâs nervous systems syncing.
Itâs thousands of tiny moments of âyou are safe with me.â
When a baby latches, both mother and baby release oxytocin, the bonding hormone. Heart rates steady. Breathing slows. Cortisol decreases. Safety increases.
Your body becomes their anchor.
And hereâs what I love reminding mothers:
Your nervous system benefits too.
Breastfeeding can be a forced pause in a world that rarely asks us to be still. A rhythm. A return. A quiet sanctuary in the middle of long days and longer nights.
And if breastfeeding is complicated, painful, short-lived, or not your path, bonding is still absolutely possible. Attachment is built through presence and responsiveness, not ounces.
Connection is the magic.
Milk is just one pathway. đ¤
If this speaks to you, share it with a mama who needs the reminder.
One of my herbal faves!

Marriage changes after kids... everyone talks about the hard parts. The exhaustion. The miscommunication. The overwhelm.
But what we donât talk about enough are the quiet ways parenthood can actually strengthen a marriage.
Watching your partner become a parent.
Learning to move like a team.
Sharing a deeper sense of purpose.
Finding connection in the smallest moments.
My newest blog is about the beautiful shifts that happen when two people grow through parenting together... the kind that donât make headlines, but change everything. đ¤
If youâre in this season (or heading into it), I hope it feels like a reassuring nod that growth and closeness are happening⌠even in the chaos.
Read it now! link in my bio.

This sweet girl is so content to just sit and stare at me until I pet her. It's impossible to get any work done with her, but maybe thats the lesson here. To just take a break and be. .
