Last week, Portland City Council voted unanimously on a resolution to commemorate the life of George Floyd and reaffirm the City's commitment to racial justice.
This resolution was directly inspired from Brown Hope’s organizing of the We Are The Bridge week of action in May 2025.
This resolution is an invitation for all of us to lean into our collective courage and be the change the world needs right now.
