After 15 years of seafood collaboration, one question stood out: What needs to change to drive real impact?

At CASS 2025, a clear theme emerged — alignment continues to be a challenge.

The industry is navigating duplicative efforts, rising animal welfare expectations, and growing pressure on certifications to deliver practical solutions — not just frameworks.

Human rights due diligence remains core, but real progress requires deeper connection with people on the ground — moving from high-level commitments to measurable impact.
