Get the lead out.

These two bullets were fired into water and recovered to demonstrate the fragmentation or weight retention of lead and non-lead bullets.

Those tiny fragments of lead are difficult to account for. Unless you are packing out your gut piles, those pose an exposure risk to scavengers.
