On August 26th from 5pm to 8pm, we are participating in the St Johns Pop-Up Art Walk. That night, St. Johns Main Street and Alshiref Design will be all exhibiting photos from the 2015 and 2016 St Johns Aperture Scavenger events. Please join us Saturday August 26th from 5pm to 8pm in celebrating these highly talented young people. See you there!
PS: If you are in the St Johns neighborhood, please stop by St. Johns Coffee Roasters. They are also exhibiting a number of amazing photographs taken by out participants but cannot participate in the Art Walk.

When we take photos, we aren't just taking pictures; we are recording history. Whether that history is of a personal nature or of great significance, someone may find them and be profoundly impacted by how your viewed the world.

As you all may know, we love history here at The Aperture Project and this fascinating video briefly explains the history of the relationship between The United States and Cuba.

Hello Aperture Project supporters. This is Ankur and I am one of the advisory board members for TAP.
I am in the process of getting a master's degree in User Experience Design and I am looking for families to do an in-person interview in the Portland Area about how The Aperture Project can be more visible in the community. This is a class assignment and I am using The Aperture Project as my case study. When the assignment is finished, I will share my findings with Tom and The Aperture Project.
Email me by Monday at [email protected] if you are interested.
I can send more details in the email.
Thank you.
What the world would look like if there were only 100 people...

We wrapped up our mindfulness program yesterday at Marysville Elementary School's SUN School program with a sweet thank you card, a bit of goofiness, and a presentation and exhibition of the truly creative work of our young participants. These kids were amazing! :)
