Looking for a little luck this New Year? Black Eye Peas are a traditional dish in the American South on New Year's Day for just this reason. In fact, if you eat black eye peas, greens and cornbread, you have a combination for a very prosperous new year! Peas are for pennies, greens are for money and cornbread is for gold. And even if it doesn't pan out financially, you still have a delicious meal. :)

I have quart jars that will make 14 servings for $12 and pint jars that will make 7 servings for $9.

Each order will help fund a trip for me to go to the One World Everyone Eats Summit in Fort Worth, Texas in mid January, where I will begin to learn how to start a nonprofit cafe where patrons name their price for a meal. Stay tuned for more information!
