They're coming in fast and furious now! We’re excited to celebrate the 2 newest Golden Paddle Chapters of 2026 since yesterday! 🏆

These chapters have officially met the standards that reflect deep engagement, strong leadership, and a commitment to safe and consistent programming.

To qualify for Golden Paddle Chapter status, your chapter:
• Engaged 15 or more unique veterans in your programs
• Hosted 26 or more Golden Paddle Qualifying events
• Completed the Safety Stand Down with core Chapter Leadership
• Submitted a Signed Chapter Affiliation Agreement
*Chapter inventory

We are so proud of your accomplishment! Your dedication has earned your chapter $500 to be used on chapter events.

There are still several chapters close to reaching this milestone, and we’re excited to see who will be next.

Tonight, May 27th, is the Disabled American's Meeting at 8725 NE Sandy Blvd. In Portland. The Meeting starts at 7 pm but you can come early and they will feed you for free. The DAV funds most of what TRR does in Oregon. So come to the meeting and enjoy a meal!

This Memorial Day, we honor the heroes who gave everything for our country and remember the families who carry their legacy forward.

Rogue River Regional Trip Report.

Great day on the White Salmon River.

This is not whitewater related but it is Veteran related. For those Vets needing that extra help Ft. Kennedy is the place to go. Ft Kenney helps with housing, emergency food, clothing, pet care, all kinds of things for homeless Veterans, It is located at 7600 SE Johnson Creek Blvd. in Portland, Or. Phone # is 503-765-2661. Hours, 9 am to 3 pm. If you know of a Vet who needs help send them there.
