It was supposed to rain on their wedding day, but luck was on their side! We had a beautiful day for Rachel and Dominic to get married at The Commons 1854. Everything about this day was vibrant, from the colors they chose, their beautiful invitations, the florals (I couldn’t get over how gorgeous they were), the sunshine, the smiles on their guests faces, and just the joy and emotion that everyone had. It was truly an honor to bear witness to the start of their married life! You can see more on the blog today :)

You know what I love the most about these rings? It's not that they're simply gorgeous (because they are!). It's the fact that Dominic's father made each of them. 🥰 These rings will become an actual family heirloom - and that is so incredibly special!

Name something sweeter. I'll wait.

A lot of people were talking about this book, so naturally I had to read it. Did I give this book 5 stars? Yep. Can I tell you why? Not really.
There was just something about it. And it made me *feel* something about humanity. But I truly can't explain what I liked about this book - which is SO strange for me! Anyway, if you haven't read it, you should jump on the bandwagon and read it and then report back to me, mkay?

I realized I never actually shared these photos of Cassidy and James, and I'm just not okay with that because they are THE sweetest and I absolutely adored taking their first set of professional photos together!! It was extra fun because Cassidy and I are both obsessed with all things plants, so this greenhouse felt so magical. I can't wait to get these two in front of my camera again in the future 😍

Last night the kids and I attended the Forrest Frank concert in MA and “incredible” doesn’t even begin to describe it. 14,000 believers all in one space, my gosh, it was so powerful. I was feeling and thinking so many things that I’m going to keep close to the chest, but here’s one random thing I couldn’t get over:
These production crews are amazing. The lights, the camera work, the creative displays - it’s truly a work of art. I couldn’t help but find myself completely fascinated with watching all the behind the scenes stuff that was going on down on the floor. Maybe it’s the photographer in me, but I was just in awe of it all. The amount of skill it takes to put a show like this together is just 🤯🤯
I’m so glad we prioritize experiences over things in our family, because this was so special with my babies. 💜

I couldn’t love their first dance more if I tried. The absolute sweetest to witness the way everyone erupted in cheers and applause during this moment! 🥰🥰

I think one of my goals this summer is to make it to the beach with my littles to watch the sunrise and have breakfast. I don't know that we've ever done it that early before, and I think that could be a sweet way to start the morning. I've definitely done it plenty of times when I'm kid free, but I know my kids appreciate the simple beauty of the sun breaking through the clouds as it rises over the horizon (and I absolutely love that about them!).
With that being said... only 9 more school days 😎 my fellow teachers - we are almost there!!!

Sometimes, the lack of personal space gets to me. But on the other hand, I love it, because I know it's a sign of their trust in me. There will come a day where my son won't want to spend all his time sitting with me or crawling over me or showering me with hugs and kisses, and asking me to lay with him at bedtime. There will come a day when my daughter stops reaching for my hand whenever we walk together, where she stops crawling into my lap when she's upset. So, in those moments where I'm totally tapped out, I take a real deep breath and remind myself "this won't last forever." 😭 Motherhood is the most sanctifying and refining experience of my life and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
This is one of my new favorite photos of me and James, and I think it's going to go on the wall. 💜
(Photo by , edited by me - fair warning, we had our family photos done recently so be prepared to see them here and there for the next few months, because I am o b s e s s e d 🤣)
