I love love!

These two were absolute ROCKSTARS! We reached the beach at 7:30am to catch that hazy morning glow. Despite all of us driving 1.5-2 hours, their energy was unstoppable. The photos turned out magical!

They’re now MARRIED, and I can’t wait for you to see their BEAUTIFUL Latin Mass Wedding! Stay tuned!

For future brides planning your engagement session, consider an early morning shoot. The soft light and quiet surroundings can create some truly enchanting photos. Plus, it’s a great way to start the day refreshed and excited. Don’t fear a little adventure – those unique locations can lead to the most memorable moments.

As promised, I’m thrilled to share the breathtaking moments captured during Emma and Tim’s engagement session at the Grotto!!! AH!!

While looking at their photos, I want to equip anyone planning an engagement session at the Grotto with some advice because there are a few key considerations to keep in mind:

•𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗞𝗲𝘆: Opting for a mid-morning session, like theirs, which was at 9 am, can provide a more serene atmosphere and ensure a little more privacy amidst the larger number of visitors in the later half of the day.

•𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀: Spring and summer are the best seasons to photograph! The Grotto’s upper garden is adorned with abundant blooming flowers, each petal a radiant homage to Mother Mary. It’s worth the wait to witness this floral masterpiece in full bloom!

•𝗙𝗲𝗲: There’s a small fee to access the upper garden; meeting the warm-hearted staff at the front desk adds charm to the experience.

Capturing moments amidst the Grotto’s sacred spaces was an absolute joy, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a meaningful environment for their special moment.

Whether drawn to Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Joseph, or Santo Niño de Cebú, the Grotto sings devotion and faith that can resonate with anyone in every corner.

I knew of Emma + Tim from but really getting to know them through their wedding planning process was such a gift. From our first consult call it was so beautiful to see a couple so eager to serve others and driven to be a light wherever they go. Even in their wedding reception they served EVERYONE cake before having any themselves. It was such a powerful sight to behold that their desire to serve comes from the core of who they are.

I’ll share their engagement photos later, but I have to mention how much I love couples who are in love 🥹 to watch Tim be completely enamored with Emma’s grace in every moment felt like it was from a fairy tale.

I do want to leave y’all with a few pieces of advice (of course take what’s helpful, leave what’s not!)
When planning your wedding a few things to consider:

1) If your venue is dark, does your photographer have experience photographing in dark locations?

2) If you’re having a religious ceremony, is your photographer familiar with the traditions? (If they aren’t, photographers can learn! But having a photographer who has experience in the tradition can make for a more meaningful composition)

3) Have details that are meaningful to YOU! In Emma + Tim’s wedding, both their moms sang different parts in the Mass, and it was important to have their mothers as a part of their wedding. Details for everyone has significance, and I would greatly encourage any bride and groom to do what is most meaningful to you on your wedding day. 🥹❤️

It's been a while since I shared a beautiful wedding moment on the feed. I couldn't be more excited to present this enchanting journey I had the privilege of capturing.

Malory and Logan's love story unfolded in the heart of Oregon City, and I'm beyond thrilled to showcase their special day. As I enter my 5th year in this incredible industry, I've witnessed countless love stories and celebrations, each unique and meaningful in its own way. ✨

With capturing so much beautiful love, I’ve also picked up a few tips along the way and I’m so excited to offer a little wedding wisdom for all the soon-to-be-engaged couples. 💍💕

•Tip #1: When you are beginning to enter into the season of engagement, and become engaged, truly soaking every moment. It flies by so quickly, take in everything and enjoy every moment!!

•Tip #2: When you get engaged and are beginning to plan your wedding, there are many ways people go about ordering their list of to do, but as a photographer it’s really helpful when a couple has there date and Venue picked picked out before picking out a photographer. This helps us be able to plan in our books, and for travel! 😄

Hey there, lovely people! It feels incredible to be back on Instagram after taking a break to capture some of the most stunning weddings and engagements. And let me tell you, there's been no shortage of love and excitement in the air!!

As you all know, I'm a wedding photographer, and thrilled to announce that I'm also a 2023 bride myself!! Yes, you read that right! I'm over the moon to be engaged to my soulmate Ethan, and we are counting down the days until we tie the knot.
Being a wedding photographer has given me the unique opportunity to witness some of the most intimate and breathtaking moments between couples.
