Dear Powell's Books community...
Dear Powell’s Books community: Effective immediately, we have decided to close our five Portland-area stores. At this time we feel we cannot honor the social distancing guidelines presented by the CDC. Our store locations will remain closed through 3/31, and we will evaluate whether we need to extend the closure at that time. It is our intention to keep the Powells.com online store open. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

School closures might sound like a dream for kids, but it throws a wrench in the system for kids who participate in MAP.
From now until further notice Laughing Planet will be providing a free kids meal to kids who qualify for Meal Assistance Programs. PLEASE help us spread the word!
