"The tool library has helped me and my neighbors achieve multiple projects this year with less financial impact. This is especially helpful for my family as my partner has recently become disabled and is currently unable to do work of any kind. With the help of the library, I've replaced two windows, insulated a portion of my walls, and removed a failing trellis structure and it's footings. A neighbor has redone a garage door seal, and another has created a beautiful wood/resin tabletop for their home. These are just the projects I know about!"

Our librarians attempted to open the library today and were met with a thick sheet of ice holding our gate closed and a treacherous passage to the door beyond. All tools loans will be extended 1 week.

If you live in the neighborhood and would like to participate in a storm readiness crew to keep the library operational or provide urgent tools to neighbors in need, please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form and select Storm Readiness.

The GLC Tool Library will be short staffed tonight, and MAY be closed early. If you are able to use a computer in the most basic ways, you can help us out with a volunteer shift. Stop by during open hours to get involved!!!
