I was never taught how to trust my instincts. I had to build that skill through my art practice.

A q***r experience of navigating a precarious life has taught me many things, like what some call a “waste” is often just unseen potential…sometimes even abundance.

Working with sustainably in my studio practice has helped me to learn how to decide what’s worth saving before panicking or even making anything. These are the practices that help me stay steady when things feel super overwhelming.
