Governor Kitzhaber signs HB 3460!
Today, governor John Kitzhaber signed HB 3460 to regulate and license medical ma*****na dispensaries . Plenty more work to be done. See his signing statement here:http://www.oregon.gov/gov/docs/HB_3460.pdf

"Gov. John Kitzhaber’s office confirmed Wednesday that, despite opposition, the governor is expected to sign House Bill 3460 into law."

Gov. Kitzhaber set to sign ma*****na regulation bill Oregon is on track to become the 15th state to license and regulate medical ma*****na dispensaries.

Q: Does the new law mean existing medical ma*****na storefronts are now state-sanctioned?

A: Not yet. The Oregon Health Authority, which oversees the state’s medical ma*****na program, has until March 2014 to draft rules on security, ma*****na testing and other issues.

When it comes helping patients access safe medicine from a legitimate dispensary, the implementation of rules and regulations is something we can all get behind.
