My 2026 wedding season officially begins this weekend. 🤍

Every year, I’m reminded that the photos couples end up cherishing most are rarely just the “perfect” portraits. They’re the hugs that linger a little longer, the uncontrollable laughter during speeches, the tears your parents try to hide, the chaos on the dance floor, and the quiet moments in between everything else.

As excited as I am to create beautiful imagery for my couples this year, I’m even more excited to help preserve the feeling of it all — the energy, the tenderness, the people in the room, and the moments that become more meaningful with time.

Playing catch up on social media and kicking things off with Sam & Vivian’s ‘City of Roses’ engagement session. To honor Vivian’s Chinese heritage, we chose Old Town Chinatown and Lan Su Chinese Garden as their photo shoot location. It was so refreshing to photograph against different textures and environments—each one adding something unique to their story. Sam & Vivian’s playful love and energy were the thread that tied it all together. We even got a chance to enjoy the cherry blossoms at peak bloom. I can’t wait for their wedding day next year!

Zac & Alex mentioned three spots/activities they wanted to highlight: cocktails at Holy Ghost Bar, thrifting at Memory Den PDX, and enjoying the view of the Portland cityscape. We managed to capture a wide range of shots at all three locations, and the result brought so much variety and personality!
