Franz Bakery hosted our students to share all the great job and career opportunities currently available at the bakery in Portland and around the NW. 2 students set up appointments for interviews! Talent is universal, opportunity is not! OK’s objective is to give these kids the opportunities for a great job/career by developing skill sets and using our “ins” throughout our expanding network of 65+ local businesses.

Today’s menu: Frittatas. Today the students learned the basics of working with eggs and veggies to whip up a delicious frittata.

We're pleased to announce that the Franz Bakery Foundation has donated $2500 to Opportunities Kitchen to help launch our career exposure program at Youth Progress in January of 2019.
