ReClaim It is a nonprofit retail store selling reclaimed goods and materials. Created by the nonprofit Cracked Pots, the organization rescues reusable items from the Metro Central Transfer Station and end-of-line waste from local industry for creative reuse. From antiques to art materials, wood, and scrap metal, the wide array of offerings changes weekly.

Thank You Volunteer Extraordinaire: JD! 💕🦝 JD has been part of the ReClaim It crew since January & we are so lucky to have them! They started out merchandising in the store, but found their calling down at the dump as a gleaner. Thursday mornings they can be found rescuing treasures before coming back to the store to help unload the weekly truck haul. Outside of ReClaim It, JD can be found riding their bike, reading zines & watching cartoons. They also give away secondhand clothes at free markets & enjoy hanging out with Mary Jane while creating reimagined jewelry from old pieces for their small business Rehomed Trinkets on Etsy.

9/19 Unpack this tote of “smalls” from the dump with us! ♻️🗑️🦝 From toy banks to novelty mugs to home decor, our volunteers glean at the transfer station each week to save treasures like these from going to the landfill. Since 2014, we have diverted over 1.3 million pounds from the waste stream. Come on down & see what’s new!

9/17 It’s truck day, trash pandas! 🦝🚛♻️ Check out the latest treasures gleaned by volunteers at the transfer station! We have diverted over 1.3 million pounds from the landfill since opening in 2014 & are so excited to keep that number rising! There are so many reasons these treasures end up at the dump & we are glad to be able to save what we can. Come on down & see what’s new!

Join Us At Milwaukie’s Sustainability Fair ♻️💕🦝 Milwaukie’s Fifth Annual 2026 on Saturday, September 19 from 10am-3pm is a free, all ages event in downtown Milwaukie. From free kids crafts to on-site recycling to many sustainable vendors to the exciting return of the Trashion Fashion Show! There is something for everyone.
