Thanks and enjoy! Portland Tugboat & Shipdocking was founded in 1985 by Capt. Arthur J Fournier. The company was purchased by McAllister Towing on December 21 2001 and renamed Portland Tugboat LLC. We currently operate a fleet of 4 tugboats that primarily work right in Portland Harbor, 24 hours a day 365 days of the year. On occasion we are asked to help out in other ports or pick up a tow outside of our operating area. As of January 2022 our fleet and employee roster are as follows:
