🏡 A neighbor asked me to dig into a property tax question on her place. No listing, no contract, just a question nobody would give her a straight answer on.

So I dug in, and dug DEEP to find her an answer. ⛏️

Then she asked what she owed me.

Here’s exactly what I told her:

“You’re my neighbor, and this is my job for a living. Just think of me next time you hear of anyone who needs help in real estate.”

That’s my whole business model. I would rather earn a referral than send an invoice. Most of what I do for neighbors never touches a transaction, and I like it that way.

The trust comes first. Everything else finds its way from there.

I’ve made a lot of choices in my life that brought me to where I am today.

Of all of them, choosing to quit smoking is one of the biggest. Maybe the biggest. 🚫🚬

Today, June 21st, the Solstice and the beginning of a new season, marks 14 YEARS without a single cigarette. Not one. Not even a drag. 🌞

Out of everything I’ve accomplished in my life, I still consider this one of my proudest achievements. Anyone who has ever tried to quit knows exactly how hard it is.

And I’ll be honest: the cravings never fully disappear. Especially during the toughest times.

They just get easier to manage.
You get stronger.
You build proof that you can keep choosing yourself. ⏳
