Hello All! I am trying to save my home and pay off a hefty judgement to my former husband. If I can't resolve this by the end of August, I'll lose my home and be forced to leave Portland. I am sorry to ask for help, but I am desperate and I am happy here, this has become my home and sanctuary. If I can sell 35,000 books, which I know is a ton, I will be okay. Please help if you can. Please share this link.
Thank you!

Risk/Reward is looking for new micro-performances for their Election Anti-Party in September. Check it ouuuuutttt!

https://forms.gle/9ffJjVk32gskzwaE6

So many things have happened since I posted the Call for Submissions for our Election Anti-Party!

And I am more excited than ever to be doing this event. There are so many angles, so many more things to say about this election. And the submissions we've gotten so far are great.

There's still time! Our call for 2-to-4 minute micro-performances about the election is still open for ONE MORE WEEK!

https://forms.gle/9ffJjVk32gskzwaE6

Some quick ideas to get you started:

- Sing an acapella song about campaign finance
- Do a comedy set about coconuts (it's a meme)
- Flap your butterfly wings and spell out how that's going to influence the specific vote count
- Invite an audience member to throw a dart at a dartboard to determine the winner

If you've got an idea, drop us a submission even if you haven't worked out the details. Further guidelines are in the submission form. Still have a question? Email info at risk-reward.org

ONE WEEK LEFT!

Let's make it a good one.

Auntie Svetty’s Astrological and Life Advice for 2024: My Most Depressing Column Ever. I’ve had trouble bringing myself to write this column. I am burned out. I want to numb out. I want my life to be more simple. I am an astrologer not an astro-physicist and that speaks something to the level of my intelligence. I do not have answers; I have advice. What good is this advice? Is pred...
