The Portland Police Bike Theft Task Force is partnering with the bicycling community to focus efforts on reducing bike thefts in the city through education, awareness and enforcement. Unfortunately, bikes are stolen in Portland every day; these thefts are often fueled by drug use and addiction--the bikes are sold to drug dealers in exchange for drugs. We are looking for volunteers to join our Bike Registration Team for our Spring/Summer events. These will be held at various times and days throughout 2020. Also an opportunity to earn free locks/shirts.
