Maine Kids Code is an after-school program that is both fun and educational for middle school students interested in coding and technology in the Greater Portland area. We're just getting started so don't be surprised if you haven't heard of us yet!

Hi Everyone, we’re happy to announce that sign-ups have begun for the spring 2019 semester.
We’re hosting two classes again. One is a beginner class using MIT’s Scratch programming language, and the other is an advanced course using the game development platform Unity.
Once again, each class only has room for ten students, so sign up fast to guarantee your kid's spot!
Hello Everybody!
We’re excited to let you know that sign-ups have begun for the fall semester.
This year we'll be switching things up a little and hosting two classes: an introduction course using the visual programming language Scratch developed by MIT and an advanced course where students will learn how to use Unity 3D, a popular game development platform. The theme for the fall semester is game design and programming.
Each class only has room for ten students, so act fast to guarantee a spot!

Hey everybody! We're coming close to wrapping up this semester and wanted to invite the community to our project showcase. On December 19 at 3:30 our coders will demo their final projects to anybody who would like to attend. If you're interested in signing up a new coder or volunteering next semester, come by the Mechanic's Hall and say hello!
