Meet Tiziano Cruz, the creator, writer, bread maker, and performer behind our upcoming presentation of WAYQEYCUNA.
Tiziano Cruz is an interdisciplinary artist whose work brings together performance, visual language, and artistic intervention in public space. His practice centers Indigenous worldviews, collective experience, and lived memory, challenging dominant narratives through intimacy and ritual.
Cruz has received major international recognition, including the Audience Award at Zurich Theatre Spektakel (2024) and the ANTI Award (Finland, 2023). His work has toured widely across Latin America, Europe, North America, and the U.S., and he is the founder of ULMUS, a cultural management platform dedicated to mediation between cultural organizations in Argentina and neighboring countries.
WAYQEYCUNA marks a profound moment in his artistic journey; a return to his Andean community and a continuation of a trilogy dedicated to visibility, survival, and reconciliation.
