Commander Ball and Officer Sieng have been working with State Representative Brent Barton on a bill honoring fallen Oregon City Reserve Officer Rob Libke.
Oregon House bill to honor slain Officer Robert Libke would extend scholarships Chief sponsors of the House Bill 4120 include three Clackamas County lawmakers, along with two from Portland. The bill, currently before the 2014 Oregon Legislature's House Business and Labor Committee, had its first hearing Monday.

Oregon City representative wants to extend full benefits to reserve officers' families after... Originally, police officer benefits were tied to PERS, which excluded volunteer officers. A 2011 bill remedied much of that, but there are some benefits still missing, such as scholarships for the children of police officers who died.
