Runabouts is a small play-based preschool run from my home on a half-acre in Outer East Portland.
We emphasize social and emotional development, social justice and anti-bias education, and child centered hands-on activities.
I miss Runabouts and I miss all of YOU! I want to see who your kids are growing into. I don't have it in me to host a "whole big thing," but I want to see if anyone wants to meet us at the park next weekend. Cont. in comments...

Runabouts has one or two Monday/Wednesday 9am-1pm spaces for a child aged 3.5-5. If you are interested please check out our website and email me. And I look forward to hearing from you! .com
We still have a couple spots for next year. So tell your friends to checkout the website and *email* me if they have a 3-5 year old who needs a place to play!

I've been spending too much time playing with kids and plants. So I've neglected all office work. But please spread the word...
Runabouts has openings for the 2018-2019 school year! Starts in September, part time, ages 3-5 years, home-based in Outer East Portland, play-based curriculum, lots of outside time in a huge play yard, super duper rad.

This place just keeps getting better and better. Yesterday we finally got a play-boat! And not just any lil rowboat, but a 16 foot sailboat! And a couple weeks ago at the Parent Work Day, we put in a long awaited Zipline!

Caring for these lil goat kids along with these lil human kids has been so special!

These two baby goats, Kiki and Shark Slide Pool (Sharky) will be coming home to Runabouts this Friday. They are moving here from Fraga Farmstead Creamery, a lovely lil organic dairy goat farm just west of Portland.
