The happiest part of my day involves puppy licks! Marley, (not Jacob Marley of Dickens A Christmas Carol, of course) is as soft as a cloud and his heavy belly makes me smile! A Christmas gift of presence, not presents!

Wrap all of your friends and family with love, grace and compassion this holiday season. Take your best thoughts and intentions and make them real by following your heart and making them real!

The things that some won’t like you for may be just the thing that others will love. Consider yourself lucky if you can accept and embrace who you are. Some of the most amazing and wonderful people I know might have been taught that being “different” meant being “difficult”...but that’s just not true. With every passing day I become more aware of shame and pain each and every one of us has been told to hold onto, to carry, that was never ours. What has defined us, the goals, desires, and outcomes...we someone else’s dream. You matter. Believe. Your time is now.

I’ve followed my soul (heart) and had it broken time and time again...the real loss would be not cultivating any relationships at all. Love is meant to be shared, and the memories and decisions guide us to our next revelation. I think i am one of the lucky ones, to know the pain of loss, and to love even more. We are meant to make life easier for one another, and true love does that every time.

Truth.

Becoming and honoring my authentic self has been difficult. My past relationships have taught me to be small, again and again. The greatest gift I have to give is the capacity to love fully, and nor honoring that...it becomes a multi faceted symptom of self betrayal. To avoid hurting others, I instead hurt myself. As I grow, learning that it’s of no purpose to sacrifice my self for anyone. I realize that the beauty of life comes in the form of many wonderful teachers. Humbled to have my rime to learn and expand within what I know to be true.

This is a classic, one of my favorite quotes that has led me through the most challenging of times. My energy is best spent in the present, while I may have learned from the past, I don’t currently live there. It’s in the best Interest of all to focus on growth for myself and my family. I’m committed to doing better, and being truly present for those I love.
