December 5th is International Volunteer Day.
More than one billion people volunteer globally for solidarity and humanity, for people and the planet. International Volunteer Day is an occasion to pay tribute to volunteers worldwide and to recognize the value of volunteerism.

December 1st is Rosa Parks Day. It's this day in 1955 when Rosa Parks took a stand and made history.

November 28 is "Giving Tuesday".
Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor out, or for the people we care about, we each have something to contribute. Identify your gifts, pick a cause that gets you fired up, and give back. Each seemingly small act turns a ripple into a wave of good, transforming society and building the world we all want to live in.
Sometimes a kind word is all you need to start a chain of generosity that lasts throughout the day. Go beyond a "like" and make a point to offer positive feedback, compliments, and gratitude to as many people as you can today.
- Write a letter to someone who's helped you.
- Send a thank you note to a teacher, healthcare working, or a mentor.
- Leave a basket of goodies for delivery and postal workers.

November 17 is National Hiking Day...Also known as “Take A Hike Day,”
There's more than 60,000 miles of trails across the nation. Hiking is great exercise allowing you to burn over 550 calories per hour. National Take a Hike Day is meant to remind people that hiking can be simple. You don’t have to climb a mountain with a heavy backpack to call yourself a hiker. A short and easy hike in your neighborhood park is a great way to celebrate the holiday and enjoy all the health benefits that hiking has to offer.

November 13 is International Tongue Twister Day.
“Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.” “A quick-witted cricket critic.” “She sells seashells by the seashore.” How many other tongue twisters can you think of to celebrate this tongue-twisting holiday?
