A little rain in the forecast wasn’t about to stop this family from making memories. ☁️💛

We squeezed this entire extended family session in at Fort Vancouver, Washington in under an hour before the skies opened up—and honestly, I think the soft clouds gave us the dreamiest light. From grandparents loving on their grandbabies to sweet couples, siblings, and a full family portrait, we captured so much joy in such a short amount of time.

These are the moments that matter most: the hugs, the laughter, the silly faces, and the people who make a family feel like home.

One of my favorite things during family sessions is asking parents to bring something special that represents their little one in this season of life — a favorite toy, a milestone, a tiny piece of who they are right now.

This sweet boy brought his basketball, and I already know he’s going to be running the court someday. 🏀 Watching these babies grow is the sweetest and hardest part of this job. He’s almost ONE already and time is absolutely flying.

I’m so thankful I get to freeze these little moments before they become memories. 🤍
