Paint Fight PDX
We are a super fun live painting event, for artists, by artists!
What is Paint Fight PDX?
Our goal is to connect the community with amazing local artists!
We PAY (that’s right), artists to come and show off a sample of their skills on stage with all supplies provided and a limited time to create!
This event is meant to introduce YOU to artists that you may not have seen before! You can even BUY THE ART you saw get created! 100% of that money goes right to the artists.
In a world that aims to charge artists to showcase, we flip that and pay them to show off for you. We add a lightly competitive element to add some fun, but it’s more important that we uplift and share these artists with you.
Want to come check it out? Guess what? It’s also FREE to attend! Our whole schedule is posted in a previous post and is also on Eventbrite, Facebook Events, the link in our bio, and probably some more places!
We are proudly sponsored by a local amazing business PDXchange - fair & square.®

Our fourth awesome artist for July 26th is Sel Tasteme (taste me Art) Sel Tastéme
Artist bio:
Sel is a multi-disciplined Portland based artist who expresses elation, anguish, and inner power through colorful paintings, dance, community projects, and sculpture. Using paint, fabric, colored pencils, clay, ink, and movement, she creates a world of whimsical horror. She focuses heavily on the q***r experience, girl and womanhood, and the inner worlds of dancers. Each of those groups face persecution, over-sexualization, and harsh judgement, and Sel wishes to show the reality, dreams, love, ambition, and struggle. Everything she creates is deeply personal from her own experiences, fantasies, nightmares, or prophesies. Her work is meant to induce empathy through playful coloring, body horror, and magical whimsy. Deeply dramatic, horrifying, and fun, Sel hopes to leave you with something on your mind, maybe you will find some empathy or find yourself, and a place to relate.
Don’t miss out on this event! It’s FREE to attend! More details vis link in our bio, Facebook Events and Eventbrite
