Our project - Hillcrest Veterans Village - was a float in the Memorial Day parade in Grants Pass! It's clear this is a project that the whole community is excited about! We're even more thrilled to share that it's on track for the grand opening to be Veterans Day 2026! How fitting for this project! We of course want to thank our partners, Mid Rogue Foundation, Momentasize, Urban Resources Inc., Gerlitz, and many more - Thank you for all your hard work! We can't wait to see this community get the housing it needs 💛

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

This Memorial Day, CIDA extends our deepest gratitude to those who gave their lives protecting the freedoms we enjoy every day. We also hold close the families, friends, and communities who carry their memory forward.

CIDA had an incredible evening at 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 at the beautiful Waverley Country Club ✨🌊 Supporting The Salvation Army’s mission in the Portland Metro area—an organization we’ve proudly partnered with for over 30 years 🤝❤️
This event 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝟭𝟰𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, providing critical support like shelter, meals, safety, and care for individuals and families in need. Every dollar raised helps continue that life-changing work in our community.

And yes… we couldn’t resist a little fun! 🎉 Our team bid (and WON!) the iconic rainbow cake from Carlo’s Bake Shop—made famous on Cake Boss 🌈🍰 A sweet win for a great cause!

From inspiring stories to a lively silent auction and Dessert Dash, it was a memorable night filled with community, generosity, and impact.

🚓🎉 CIDA was thrilled to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting for the new 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭!

The Cannon Beach PD was joined by P&C Construction, Mayor Barb, community members, and the many partners who helped bring this incredible project to life. 🙌🏽🏗️ The officers led guests through their new department, sharing some of their favorite features and spaces throughout the building.

🐾 CIDA had a blast participating in the OHS Doggie Dash this weekend! 🐶💚

We loved supporting the Oregon Humane Society alongside our community, furry friends, and fellow animal lovers for a great cause. The pups especially enjoyed cooling off with their pupcones after the event! 🍦🐕✨

The OMD Hillsboro Readiness Center is well under construction and coming together beautifully! 🚧🏗️✨

The PEMB is up and we're already moving into exterior siding and CMU finishes. Tube storage is nearly complete — momentum is building every day on this project. 💪🏽🔨

A huge shoutout to CIDA's incredible partners — Fortis Construction, Systems, City Electric, and Basic Fire — for their hard work and dedication in creating a stunning new facility for the Oregon National Guard and the growing Hillsboro community. 👏🏢

With more than 30 years of partnership with The Salvation Army, it’s incredibly rewarding to see another project come to life and make a real difference in our community. 💛🏘️

🌎✨ Wrapping up 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 the best way we know how, giving back to our community! Last week, CIDAites came together for a 𝗖𝗜𝗗𝗔 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 volunteer event with 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸, helping spread mulch and making a tangible impact. Our team tackled an impressive 8 of 12 yards of mulch! 🌱💪

Our also invited everyone to share personal sustainability goals for the year, inspiring small actions that can make a big difference. From volunteering together to committing to greener habits, it was a meaningful way to celebrate Earth Week and do some good for our community. 💚
