Knott Street Boxing Club

We fought hard today at the Tacoma Show. Matthew faced his first open fighter from Tacoma and gave him all he could handle but came out in the losing end. Santiago faced a strong tough opponent from Seattle (SeaMar) but was able to use his experience to be pull out the win. Was a good showing for both.

We're in Tacoma today for Tacoma Boxing's fundraiser show. Originally was supposed to be just Matthew on the card but they found Santiago an opponent from SeaMar. Time to put in some work and represent Knott St!

Congratulations to all three of our boxers last night. We came away with victories between the twins and Matthew lost a hard fought split decision.

Extremely proud of these young boxers for winning their matches last night. Knott Street came away 4-0 and the difference in hard work and more focus is starting to show. Keep up the good work boys.. only the beginning. Thanks to all the teams, coaches, officials and doctor that were able to make this years Cinco de Mayo 2016.. the best to date!

We're about 24 hours away from our FREE Cinco de Mayo Show at Waterfront Park. We'll be having David, Matthew, Gustavo and Isidro on the card to represent the team. Bring home them trophies!

We were up early this morning to help promote our show "Cinco de Mayo - Friday Night Fights". Thanks to Joe V and KPTV Channel 12 News for covering our event. Our team came away with 3 wins and 2 loses yesterday in day 1 of the Enslow tournament. One lose was a close split decision and the other was a good learning experience. The wins was one 3 round TKO by Gustavo and Daniel and Santiago decisive unanimous decisions. We have 3 more bouts today. Go Knott Street!!

We'll be at the Invitational Classic tonight with Gustavo on the card. Then tomorrow we'll be taking Devon, Daniel, David, Matthew, Santiago and Gustavo to compete in the Fred Enslow tournament. Team is growing and looking to bring back some trophies!

We were at Oregon Junior Olympics last night and happy to say that Matthew won his first match! It hasn't been easy for him, but he's proof that hard work and not giving up pays off. Congrats Matthew!

We were at Beaverton PAL's show last night with 3 boxers on the card. Gustavo won his first match impressively with a 1st round TKO. Santiago and Matthew came up short but we'll be back. Good turnout of support from our other new boxers that will have their time to shine in the next month.

Putting in that conditioning work on a rainy Saturday getting ready for next week. We have some new kids in training ready for some big shows in the next couple of months. Our team is getting stronger!
