I feel like a proud mom. My book is out in the world and the people love it.
It’s been such a joy to share this story with the world. Pick up your copy at your local bookstore today (you may have to ask for it) or at the link in my bio.
Thanks for the amazing photos, and to the Alliance for embodying the true spirit of the Rag Tag Best Friends Bicycle Club.
Sometimes the best rides aren’t the fastest, the longest, or the hardest.
Sometimes they’re just the ones that remind you why you fell in love with bikes in the first place. Thanks for riding with me today Mercy and bringing me back to my love of gravel riding.

Tomorrow is my 6th go at and I’m having some big feelings about it all.
One of my big goals for 2026 was to finish the 100 miler faster than I did in 2025. Well, life had different plans for me this year, and instead of riding the 100, I’ll be riding the 25 miler, and inviting folks to join along with me.
Since stopping my Oregon Outback attempt, I’ve been fighting some weird body issues: system-wide inflammation, sore joints and bones, fatigue, even hugging sends waves of pain through my body.
So while I wish I was out there riding long miles, my goal for tomorrow is to take care of my body, share a smile or snack with anyone who needs it, and be grateful for everything that the bike has brought me over the last few years.
Huge thanks to for the Flyway I’ll be riding, for the components, shoes and glasses, for keeping my head safe, for the cute fit, for the best bags in the game, and for keeping me on course.
Good luck to everyone riding tomorrow. 💕
Looks like mud is on the menu for this year.
My advice? Just because everyone else is walking, doesn’t mean it isn’t rideable.
Find a good line and have fun with it!
(This is from the infamous 2023 mud year.)

Sometimes life throws you lemons, and all you can do is make lemonade. While we both had big ambitions for Unbound, our bodies have different plans, and we’re inviting you along for the ride.
Join and I for the 25 mile ride. We’ll have extra snacks, tools, and all the encouragement you need to make it the best day on a bike you’ve ever had.
So whether it’s your first gravel event, or you’re also nursing a healing body, join us for a joyful day of gravel riding.
Scenes from riding 230 miles across central Oregon on the Oregon Outback Bikepacking route for my 40th birthday!

My goal was to do something big for my 40th birthday. So I set out to ride the Oregon Outback, a route that has loomed large in my mind since the grand depart in 2015.
365 remote, rugged miles from the California border to Washington. Limited food and water resupply. High desert conditions including relentless headwinds, bitter cold at night and hot during the day.
I went as far as my body would allow, making it 230 miles and nearly 8,000 ft of climbing.
I’m so proud of what I accomplished out there, and of and who are still out there.
My bike was perfect - the .bikes Supertramp performed amazingly, set up with racks from and bags from
So much more to come, but for now, food and sleep.

Scenes from the Oregon Outback Day 2 & 3.
The first three days have been hard. Fighting massive headwinds to pedal downhill 5mph, relentless gopher holes and deep gravel, and a reserve of strength I didn’t realize I had.
5 more days to go. And I am so excited.
Huge thanks to .bikes for the incredible bike, for the racks and bags, for the components and wheels, for the bags, and for the cute camp clothes!
So much more to come!
