These are mostly being developed in countries with national healthcare. Here in the states, when developed by private companies, will be out reach financially for the average person living with dementia. Perhaps we look to make all our existing towns and cities dementia friendly.

Today we handed the keys over to the new owners of Hazelwood. Our time operating Adult Care Homes has come to an end. Deep gratitude for family and friends that have made this journey possible. Special mention to my life partner Keith Moree and my dear friend and business partner Richard Woolington for all the support on this ten year journey. Over all, we served 57 Elders in two houses for nine years. Many of which we helped through end of life. Deep respect and appreciation for all the associates that were by my side and the ones present when I wasn't able, especially Noel Aytin.
Stay tuned for future chapters as I'm not retiring yet.
