It's a sad day for comedy! We'll miss ya Nick!
We'd like to offer our condolences to the friends and family of Nick Nemeroff. We were fortunate to have him close out several of our shows in the summer of 2019. He had a unique, indelible stage presence and was an absolute pleasure for us to work with. He will be missed.

Our Story
The Laugh Shack started in Tim's basement and he put on some seriously good shows. Then Al let Tim move it into his place in Westbrook and went legit. It moved to Lincolns in the big city of Portland and got even better. Tim bequeathed it to Will Green and Aharon Willows of The Portland Comedy Co-op, who then bequeathed it to their stepson and stepbrother Connor McGrath and his various cousins. Comics from all over, tickets for only $5 and cheap drinks.
In January 2018, our legacy expanded to include a 2nd location at Lincolns new location in Burlington, Vermont on Tuesday nights.
For comics looking to perform in the Maine location: Email [email protected] with dates you have available in the next 2 months. If you've performed here before, no need to introduce yourself. If you're a new face, include where you're from and a video or a reference or two so we know you're a real person!
