Help Support King's Gardens and Food Lab!
Our students want a place to grow their own food! They need a hands-on food lab where they can try out what they are learning and eat what they grow. KMS is excited to invite the Portland community to partner with us in building and planting a raised bed herb garden as our first venture into urban small-scale farming. We have a warm, sunny location picked out that’s perfect for early spring planting.

Our garden project is participating in the , a 30-day fundraising challenge and we could really use your support TODAY! In addition to keeping the funds we raise from individuals like you, we have a chance to win a challenge grant of up to $1000 from SeedMoney based on how much we raise over the course of the 30-day period running from Nov 15 to Dec 15.

King Middle School 8th graders got a taste of the great outdoors today as they hit the trails at Mount Douglas. These students summited Mount Douglas, had a little picnic lunch at the top, enjoyed views, and time together outdoors!
