Hello Strange Beings of Earth!

We’re putting together a new pop-up immersive art experience called The Rift Store — an inter-dimensional thrift store where the ordinary has gone gloriously wrong — and we want you to be a part of it.

Imagine a thrift store stocked with multi-species used goods from across the universe. Here you might find the rare wazzulbots from Epoch 3, or a glarb glarber from The Elderlands in nearly perfect condition! Heck, if you are there at the right time you just might score a sacred tuffed robe from the high circle orbitrons! (Every object has a price tag... but nothing is actually for sale!) And apparently at one point, something strange was donated to the store, and whatever it was has somehow infected — or altered — the entire place. Don’t worry though, our research team is still looking into that.

Visitors will wander through a dimensional rift disguised as a thrift store and discover bizarre treasures, hidden stories, mysteries to solve, and secrets tucked into every nook and cranny.

You’ll never know what (or who) you’ll find if you look hard enough.

Opening date is in February 2027 running approximately 6 months.

We have areas we’d love artists to make their own: We’re putting out an open call for new or existing work, strange objects, installations, characters, artifacts, interactive elements, and general weirdness to fill out this upside-down thrift store universe.
To propose an idea, fill out our Google Form (link in bio) — one form per idea. This helps us organize artists across the space and understand what you’ll need to make your piece work. Proposals due October 1.

If you’ve been following this account for a while, you’ve probably experienced FATHOM with us — the underwater world, the strange creatures, the glowing installations, and all the beautiful weirdness.

But FATHOM was never the whole story.

It was created by Roboto Octopodo, and we’re going to building a lot more strange, immersive worlds.

So this account is becoming the home of Roboto Octopodo.
