The High Spirits' sound is founded in American music from Motown to Nashville. Playing original and cover songs in the vein of country soul.
We are a husband wife duo who love performing stripped down cover versions of our favorite songs for weddings, proposals, and graduation, retirement, and birthday parties. Our musical style is a bit pop, a bit folk, a bit Motown, and a bit alternative country; for example, we cover Amy Winehouse, Leon Bridges, Norah Jones, Prince, Whitney Houston, Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, and we're always working on

Going into 2020 with 20 gigs already on the calendar. Feeling extremely grateful for the opportunity to play together; generous grandparents to be with the kids while we play; and the fact that we live in a community that values music.
