These sub-occipitals work overtime to keep your big head up and balanced on top of your spine. VERY important job!This release helps to soften muscle tissue and fascia at the top of the neck and the base of the head.

P.S. Tension headaches are most commonly caused by trigger points in this sub-occipital muscle group. It’s the first area I self-massage when I experience headaches. 😇
