Double Trouble quartet had an amazing time on stage yesterday. We felt so great about what we put on stage and ended up placing 14th overall which was within our qtt goal of top 15.
Huge Shout out to our fabulous quartet coach, Mark Heathershaw, for supporting us and inspiring us to relax and enjoy our time on stage as friends.

On a more personal note, this is tht first time that I’ve sung a part other than lead in barbershop and I enjoyed challenging myself to sing tenor.

Also congrats to our bass, Mark Gross, for his chorus Vocal Summit, for winning first place and the chance to represent our district at international.

As members of both Vocal Summit PDX and PDX Voices, we are so excited to be sharing the stage with so many talented singers.

Hello friends, Double Trouble is currently at a crossroads as we say goodbye to Natasha, who has decided not to continue with us on our musical journey. We hate to lose her but are supportive and appreciate the time and talent she shared with us.

With that change comes the need to find a replacement to fill that empty space next to us. If you are not currently in a BHS quartet, are in the Portland area, and would like to audition for Double Trouble, please reach out to anyone in the quartet. We are particularly looking for either a tenor or a baritone singer; all genders/gender identities welcome! This quartet is driven to sing competitively, do shows, create a collaborative atmosphere, and most of all build friendships. If that piques your interest, please get in touch or share with others you think may be interested. ♥️

Ready for a day of singing Valentine's!

02/07/2024

Come visit our family at our next rehearsal!

We are overjoyed to have reached a point in our growth where we need to put more thought into the balance of our parts. With this reflection in mind, we are currently in primary need of singers able to sing in a bass, baritone, and lead range. Please note, this does not preclude us from adding new tenors to the mix at this time.

If you are interested in attending, please take a moment to fill out our Interest Form:
